Lagos state water authority has announced a collaboration with the state metropolitan area transport authority, LAMATA, to work out an interwoven transport network, to further create faster and more efficient means of transportation in the state.

 

The General Manager of LASWA, Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, presented the “Omi Eko” project plans to LAMATA, which will integrate road, rail, and water transport systems, for a seamless and sustainable commuting experience.

 

During the meeting, Emmanuel emphasized that the project has the potential to revolutionize urban mobility, by alleviating congestion, improving convenience, and steering Lagos towards a brighter transportation future.

 

Both agencies promised to direct all necessary effort to expedite action on the joint project as a testament of the progressive agenda of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration
