Lagos state government says it will not relent in enforcing the law and upholding fairness and justice in order to sustain law and order in the state.

Commissioner for environment and water resources, Tokunbo Wahab said this via x, noting that a total of 3 ladies and 23 boys were apprehended for terrorizing people using the pedestrian bridge at Oshodi were arrested.

According to him, 2 miscreants, 31 street traders and 68 individuals were arrested during the morning operation conducted by the operatives of the state environmental sanitation corps (kai), across the state for not using the pedestrian bridges.

He however appealed to Lagosians to protect government properties, to avoid wasting tax payers’ money.
