President Tinubu has directed security and intelligence agencies to immediately rescue the victims of the Borno and Kaduna kidnap, promising that justice will be served against the perpetrators of the abominable acts.
The President in a social media statement said he had received briefings from security chiefs on the two incidents, sympathized with the families of the victims, while expressing confidence that the victims will be rescued.
According to him, nothing else is acceptable to his government and the waiting family members of the abducted citizens, assuring them that they would soon be reunited with their loved ones, while charging security operatives to be ruthless in the rescue operation.
Recall, the news of another major kidnap was reported in Chikun local government of Kaduna state, where yet to be determined number of primary school pupils and one head teacher were kidnapped.
