The Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin has extolled the virtues of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, during a visit to the Aliiwo family compound.
The Olubadan-designate, who until his designation, was the Balogun of Ibadanland, was accompanied on the visit by three of the Advisory Council including Osi Balogun, Ashipa Olubadan, and Ashipa Balogun-Obas Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, Abiodun Kola-Daisi and Kolawole Adegbola respectively.
Speaking through Oba Adebimpe, Oba Olakulehin described the late monarch as a man who promoted love, unity and progress among the members of the Olubadan Advisory Council.
The Olubadan-designate urged the members of the Aliiwo family to be thankful to God for the life and times of their departed patriarch, noting that his impacts and legacies will continue to echo in the history of Ibadanland.
