Lagos State Police Command has appealed to residents to cooperate with officers, warning against confrontations or provocations that can lead to unfortunate outcomes.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post shared on X, cautioned the public, particularly the youth, to avoid confronting or provoking armed individuals, stating that ‘a life lost can never be brought back.
According to him, for your safety, the public should desist from challenging or daring an armed person to shoot, or attempting to disarm an armed person.
The police spokesman said the advice was not against police officers only, but a safety tip against anyone wielding a gun, either a security personnel, or criminals.
