President Bola Tinubu has commended the 10th national assembly for its synergy and patriotic exploits in setting achievable agenda for Nigeria, through intentional and people-friendly legislation which he described as the basis for successful democracy.
The President speaking at a lecture to celebrate the 61st birthday of the President of the senate, Godswill Akpabio, submitted that the rate of success of any administration is bent on the level of harmony between all harms of government, channeled towards same goal and objectives, noting that he Is pleased with the level of cooperation within the legislative arm.
Tinubu however expressed optimism that the policies and aspiration of his government will be easily achieved and translated to visible success with the help of the government as a whole, appealing for sustained understanding and selflessness in serving the nation.
The President also lauded presentations of speakers at the lecture, promising to examine their submission and work out a deeper interpretation, which he said will be implemented if found worthy and valuable.
