Oyo state governor has admonished governments at all levels to embark on futuristic projects that will outlast their existence but make life easier for the coming generation.
Speaking at the flag off of the Rashidi Ladoja circular road, Seyi Makinde, insisted that government is a platform to serve, preserve and facilitate enviable structures for all to enjoy, faulting the ideology of a politician acting as king or god over his people.
On his part, Anambra state Governor, Charles Soludo hailed Makinde for transforming the outlook of the state, submitting that governors and politicians of these era must see beyond the present situation, ensure that the integrity of Nigeria is preserved even at the expense of their personal ambition.
Makinde also assured persons whose properties were affected by various government projects that their compensation will be disbursed, in line with government policies.
