Lagos State government has announced the establishment of a youth database, to collate valid information of young persons in the state, as a tool for easy implementation of government policies and to facilitate development in all areas.

 

The launch was announced by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Abubakar who said the platform is an evidence of government’s commitment to Social Inclusion, Gender Equality, and Youth Engagement, to set achievable agendas for the future.

 

According to him, government is working tirelessly to establish a comprehensive database of youth residents in Lagos State, which will serve as a hub to provide support and opportunities for deserving youths, making sure that their skills and abilities are ably translated into exportable resources.

 

Abubakar urged interested persons to register between Monday, 25th of March to Tuesday, 2nd of April, 2024, from 9 in the morning to 4 in the evening daily, at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
