The new Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Adegoke Fayoade has assured residents of watertight security during and after the yuletide, promising to work in synergy with other security agencies to secure all areas of Lagos through the air, land, and water and also check the perennial traffic in the state.
Fayoade gave the assurance while interacting with newsmen after taking over from DCP Waheed Ayinllara, who was in acting capacity following the promotion of former police boss, Idowu Owohunwa, to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, in charge of the Federal Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon, Lagos.
According to him, men of the force will be visible in all areas, fun centres, with very effective patrol and rapid response system to address all forms of unrest in any area of the state.
The new commissioner commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his unwavering support and commitment to the issue of security and safety in the state, while pledging his dedication, commitment, and resolve to the principles of justice and community safety in Lagos
