Lagos state government has vowed to sustain its fight against improper conduct, public nuisance and disregard for environmental laws in the state.

 

Commissioner for environment and water resources, Tokunbo Wahab via X, with a video of persons apprehended this morning for disregarding the use of pedestrian bridges across the state.

 

According officials apprehended 6 miscreants at Bolade Oshodi who were sleeping on the bridge thereby preventing people from using the facility, while 6 other persons were apprehended at Ketu for refusing to use the pedestrian bridge and accusing the KAI officials of doing illegal duty of working during the holiday.

 

Also, 29 street traders were arrested at Victoria Island, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Aboyade-Cole, Adeola Odeku, Bishop Oluwole and Ligali Ayorinde.

 

Wahab promised that the government will not relent in its pursuit for law and order, appealing to residents to abide by the law.
