United Kingdom prime minister, Rishi Sunak has landed in Israel for what he described a solidarity visit and a significant consultation to assess the current situation in Gaza.

According to Sunak, the situation is critical and remains volatile, hence the need for consultations and consolidations to avoid escalation and reduce damages.

He expressed solidarity with Israel, restating his stance to support the war against terrorism while appreciating support for the evacuation of UK citizens captivity.

Meanwhile, Israeli president Isaac Herzog says the recent attacks from Hamas is a continuous propaganda from Tehran to promote disunity in the region, stating that Israel is out to quench the fire of terrorism whose assignment is to unleash untold terror in the region.

He however appreciated allies for support on all fronts, while insisting that Israel will continue to defend its territories from external factors.
