President Bola Tinubu has advised the organized labour to explore other options beyond strike actions, which he said is becoming unacceptable.

 

Tinubu speaking at the commissioning of the Redline rail in Lagos, stated that the union had embarked on strike four times within just nine months of his administration, noting that freedom of expression and democracy should not be abused or misused.

The President also insisted that the revolution and restructuring agenda by his government, in the fight against corruption, poverty and all counterproductive practices within government the structure will be sustained despite attempts by perpetrators to hinder and derail the government.

According to him, Nigeria has a vibrant population that must be committed to value creation, noting that only Nigerians can properly tackle the internal issues, through patriotism and collaboration at all levels, to build the Nigeria of their dream.

 

Tinubu however charged Nigerians to believe in the policies and intentions of his government to change the narrative and propel the nation to enviable heights.
