The Senate on Wednesday confirmed President Bola Tinubu’s nominees – Amidu Raheem and Fasuwa Abayomi as Commissioners for the National Population Commission (NPC).
The approval came after consideration of the report of the Senate Committee on National Identity and Population Commission.
Raheem, who hails from Osun State, is a former state lawmaker and commissioner while Abayomi prominently known in the Ogun political circle as FAJ was a former Chairman, House of Assembly on Works.
