Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has re-echoed President Tinubu’s plea for prayers and supplications for Nigeria, rather than lamenting and raining curses on leaders at different levels.

The governor said this at a Combined Special Prayer to commemorate Easter, Ramadan and the President’s 72 Birthday Celebration, noting that leaders need divine guidance and wisdom to steer the nation to greater heights.

Earlier, President Tinubu in a statement through his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, admonished religious leaders to use their platforms to educate followers on the need to speak good about the nation, show love and compassion as a form of duty to the nation.

Tinubu also commended Nigerians for their sacrifices in the past few months, assuring that their seeds of patience will in no time bring forth abundance of good fruits.
