The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Trade Union Congress, TUC, National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Labour Centres, ITC, Traders and others took to the streets of Port Harcourt to show solidarity with Fubara.

The coordinator of National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS), Levi Okoru who spoke on behalf of youths said they were displeased with the intervention of President Bola Tinubu which appeared favourable to Wike.

Recall a resolution between Wike and Fubara brokered by President Tinubu resolved that all the commissioners who resigned from Fubara’s administration would resume their offices while Wike loyalist, Martin Amaewhule, who is among the 27 lawmakers who defected to the All Progressives Congress, would be recognised as the Speaker.
