Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has applauded President Bola Tinubu for his giant strides since assuming office, especially in fostering peace and unity in different part of the country.
Fubara speaking during his Christmas day address stated that the President’s decision to wade into the misunderstanding that was almost blown out of proportion in the state, showed his neutrality and sincerity in promoting peace and engendering progress.
According to him, although the signing of the Presidential peace pact has raised dust and elicited different reactions from different persons, his resolve is to uphold the accord and honour the terms stipulated there-in.
Governor Fubara however appealed to the people of the state to embrace peace and unity, insisting that it is the responsibility of the to shut out mischief makers, for the good of all.
