President Bola Tinubu has promised to address the issue of farmers-herders clash which he said was one of the major causes of food shortage in Nigeria.

 

The president said this in Niger, at the launch of the renewed hope food security agenda, stating that he will provide a comprehensive plan in two, three weeks, to reorient farmers and herders on the need to collaborate, easing the tension between them for the good of Nigeria.

 

Tinubu who refused to blame previous government for the current situation, noted that he will be steadfast in the execution of his police irrespective of complains occasioned by temporary displeasure.

 

He further submitted that he will leave no stone unturned in dealing with bottle necks in the different sectors in the country, partnering state governments to banish hunger.
