President Bola Tinubu has demanded renewed onslaught on terrorists disrupting the country from personnel of the Armed Forces.
The President made the demand at the 60th anniversary of the Nigerian Defence Academy and presentation of colours where he praised the military for their efforts so far in ensuring peace in some of the flashpoints.
While commending the past and present leadership of the Academy, Tinubu said the quality of training at the academy was reassuring that the military is capable of bringing an end to all acts of banditry, insurgence and criminality.
Referencing the recent coups in some African countries, Tinubu urged the army to continue to stick with its constitutional roles.
The NDA was first presented with the National and Regimental colours in May 1970 by former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, subsequently setting the tone to present new colours to the academy during milestone celebrations.
