The Kwara State Police Command says its operatives, alongside vigilantes have rescued a Chinese national, PengChao Zhang, who was abducted by armed men Eiyenkorin Community, Ilorin.
According to the Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, the Chinese also known as Williams Kaka among his business associates, was kidnapped on March 10 when six armed men invaded a guest house and forcefully took him away.
Although she didn’t give details, she admitted a series of strategic search and investigation, led to the safe rescue of the victim yesterday.
Ejire-Adeyemi confirmed that Zhang had since been reunited with his family unharmed.
