Ondo state police command has confirmed the death of a 300-level student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-akoko (AAUA), Ifeoluwa Adekunle, who was found dead in her room in a house outside the university campus.
Speaking in a telephone chat with Adamimogo fm, the public relations officer of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami, said investigation into the incident has commenced, with operatives of the force working to unravel circumstances leading to her death.
According to reports, her lifeless body was discovered on Saturday with the unfortunate incident said to have caused panic among the students of the university, particularly female students.
The police spokesperson also disclosed that the remains of ifeoluwa had since been taken to the morgue.
