Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo has again advocated consultations and collaborations among Africa countries to adequately address peculiar issues prevalent in the continent.

Obasanjo speaking at a symposium organised by the Centre for Human Security and Dialogue, to mark his 87 birthday, sent a message to the Tinubu administration, appealing for the adoption of the Zimbabwean model to weather the current storm of galloping inflation.

According to the statesman, with the current inflation rate at 29.9 per-cent, there was nothing wrong if the leadership of Nigeria could reach out to the Southern African country for a solution on how it was able to overcome the same challenge.

Obasanjo further expressed believe in the youths of Nigeria, noting that hold the keys to national development and must rise above current challenges to set realistic agenda for the nation.
