Liverpool’s Diogo Jota has been named EA SPORTS Player of the Month of January, earning the prize for the first time in his career
After recovering from injury at the end of December, Jota delivered three goals and two assists in only three appearances, inspiring Liverpool to a perfect three wins from as many matches.
Jota topped a six-man shortlist that also included Elijah Adebayo, Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Magalhaes, Richarlison and team-mate Conor Bradley.
He is the second Liverpool player to win the award this season, following Mohamed Salah’s success in October.
