Lagos state government has again restated commitment to addressing food shortage, hike in food prices and food distribution through concerted partnership and proper planning.

Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya said this while breaking down data from the recently commissioned Mushin Agro Food Hub, Idi-Oro Mushin, stating that the State can now plan better for the future, with accurate figures.

Olusanya who expressed pleasure at the reception of the food hub by Lagosians, also explained that more Agro Food Hubs will be built across the State, with 4 ongoing and 7 other locations already identified.

Recall, Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding, with Niger state Governor, Umar Bago on food production and distribution, to meet local needs.
