The federal government has vowed to go after aviation personnel, shying away from required trainings and certification and persons running airline operations without appropriate clearance and authorization from the government.

 

The minister of aviation and aerospace development, Festus Keyamo speaking in an interview read the riot act to concerned persons, warning that the President has ordered a holistic overhaul of the sector, unravelling all bottlenecks and loopholes.

 

Keyamo further stated that his office will enforce regulations and complete remission of revenue to the appropriate government purses, to ensure that the government is not denied levies and dues stipulated by law.

 

The minister also promised to run a transparent system where no activity will be hidden, and public trust will be restored.
