Former Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi says government especially in a democratic setting is designed to be a continuous process irrespective of the party in power.
Amaechi speaking in a televised interview expressed satisfaction with completion and maintenance of some projected inaugurated or completed under his leadership, hailing President Bola Tinubu for ensure continuity and development in those areas.
The former Governor of Rivers state however challenged the government to expand the economy and create room for more youths to thrive and utilize their talents, stating that crime will reduce drastically if the economy becomes better.
He also noted that because of the selfish nature of Nigerian politicians, some projects are allowed to suffer just as a vendetta against their perceived enemies which he argued wastes the resources of government and unleashes untold hardship on the people.
