Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has said the burial of the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu would be an elegant celebration of life of an icon.
Aiyedatiwa who described the death of the former governor as a big loss because of the great contributions he made in all spheres, noted that he will be given a well-deserved state burial.
He added that Akeredolu’s family is being awaited for further briefing on the burial.
Recall governors of the Southwestern states, under the aegis of the South West Governors’ Forum, resolved to collaborate with Akeredolu’s family to give the late Governor of Ondo State a befitting burial.
Akeredolu died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, aged age of 67
