The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has charged Nigerians to remain resolute and determine to surmount the challenges facing the nation rather than abandoning their homes for foreign lands.
Musa said this when he visited ailing personnel at the Defence Headquarters Hospital, Abuja, to mark Christmas and his birthday, advocating patriotism and deep love for the country, irrespective of the situation.
According to him, Nigerians must realize that the task of sustaining and upholding the country is not for the armed forces alone, insisting that national unity is a joint assignment.
He also assured men of the armed forces of adequate support, improved welfare packages and remuneration as provided within the capacity of the force, to sustain the victories recorded against insurgency in the country.
