Echoes of ‘Bow and Go’ rent the air of the Rivers State House of Assembly as lawmakers screened and confirmed all nine former Commissioners re-appointed into the cabinet by Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Fubara had a few days ago resubmitted the names of the nine nominees who resigned in the wake of a political crisis between him and the immediate-past governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.
The nominees are, Zacchaeus Adangor, Jacobson Mbina, Gift Worlu, Inime Chinwenwo- Aguma, Chukwuemeka Woke and Chinedu Mmom.
Others are George-Kelly Alabo, Isaac Kamalu and Austin Ben Chioma.
However, the former commissioners were not subjected to any question as they were asked to take ‘a bow and leave’ the chamber.
