The Court Of Appeal Sitting In Abuja  Has Reserved Judgment In The Appeal Brought Before It By  Governor Abdullahi Sule Of Nasarawa State  Seeking To Overturn The Split Decision Of  The State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Which Sacked Him From Office.

The Tribunal Had, In A Two-To-One Judgement Of A Three-Member Panel Of Justices Declared The Governorship Candidate Of The Peoples Democratic Party (Pdp), David Ombugadu, Winner Of The March 18, 2023 Nasarawa State Governorship Election.

A Dissenting Ruling By One Of The Three Justices, However, Upheld The Election Of Governor Sule.

At Today’s Hearing, Counsel To Governor Abdullahi, Wole Olanipekun (San), Urged The Court To  Set Aside The Judgement Of The Lower Court While Kanu Agabi (San) Representing Ombugadu And His Party, Prayed The Court To Dismiss The Appeal And Affirm The Judgement Of The Tribunal.

The Appellate Court Led By Justice Uchechukwu Onyemenam, Then Reserved Judgment In The Appeal To A Date That Would Be Communicated To Parties  After All The Processes Filed In The Matter Were Adopted.
