The Adegbin of Lepia Kingdom, Oba Isamaila Akibu Adeleke has denounced reports that his choice as ruler of the community did not follow due process.

Recall Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu represented by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs Kikelomo Bolarinwa, had in June, presented Staff of Office to the Monarch.

Oba Adeleke who is also a leader in the state transport sector also clarified that he is a bonafide indigene of Lepia Kingdom, dismissing allegations that he was not an indigene of the Kingdom.

Addressing the allegations too, a Bishop, Joshua Adebowale who described himself as the Head of the Erelu Royal Family, affirmed Oba Adeleke’s rights to the throne and labelled one of the Claimants, Olu Adekogbe an impostor.

Recall Adekogbe recently alleged in a viral voice note that Elders of Lepia town were not carried along during the selection and installation of Oba Adeleke by the state government and deemed him unqualified for the position.
