Vice President Kashim Shettima has visited and made personal donation to all the victims of Saturday’s suicide bomb attack in Gwoza area of Borno State.

 

Shettima who condoled with the families of those killed by the multiple explosions said 42 persons were brought to the specialist hospital but 14 have been discharged after receiving treatment.

 

He said that 26 are still receiving treatment, while noting that the death toll from the suicide bomb attack in Gwoza has now risen 31.

 

Earlier, the state commissioner information and internal affairs, Usman Tar described the attack as an isolated incidence which calls for extra vigilance and reinvigorated effort against the insurgents.
