A U.S. military personnel is in critical condition after setting himself on fire, in an apparent act of protest against the war in Gaza, outside the Israeli embassy in Washington.
An Air Force Spokesperson who confirmed the incident said the man was transported to an area hospital after the fire was put out by U.S. secret service officers.
The man had shortly before setting himself ablaze claimed that he would no longer be complicit in genocide and screamed – free Palestine.
Local Police and secret service are investigating the incident.
