Former governor of Bayelsa state and Senator representing Bayelsa West, Seriake Dickson has joined the train to demand a review of Nigeria political structure and governance system, noting that the time for a holistic change is long overdue.

Dickson speaking during an interview, claimed parliamentary system is the best solution for Nigeria, faulting the premature collapse of regional government, describing it as an abortion of the true structure of a proper Nigerian government.

According to him, the game of shifting blames from top to bottom is a cancer worm that will not allow Nigeria grow, insisting that there is a need for constitutional review that translates to a workable national structure.

He also advocated patriotism over party or ethnic affiliation, urging lawmakers and political stakeholders to at this point embrace nationalism over selfish ambitions and interests.
