In line with his father’s vision of creating an enduring infrastructure for the family, A prominent Ido-Ekiti Indigene and Cleric, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo has officially commissioned the Ilike Family Hall, a remarkable 400-seater facility.

     

Prophet Olu-Alo said asides aligning with his late Father’s desire, the Ilike hall would further foster unity and the concept of joint ownership among the large family.

Handing over the hall, he said, “I’m passionate about my people and my family, no doubt and I did this project to foster love and unity among family members.

” Also, the site of this hall was previously a shrine, but I thought about what could be done to glorify God’s name and here we are. They can gather here for the yearly family prayer,” he said.

The official commissioning ceremony was graced by the presence of the Olojudo of Ido, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro and Planter of CAC Boanerges, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, who both, commended Prophet Olu-Alo for his unwavering commitment to the town.

One of the attendees, Coordinator of Glorious Partners of GMPM, USA, Bolaji Adisa, praised the Cleric for promoting community growth and setting a high standard in supporting government efforts.

He argued that since government could not take all responsibilities, “Prophet Olu-Alo through his selflessness has shown how it should be done by individuals.”

During the commissioning, members of the Ilike family showered praises and prayers on Prophet Sam Olu-Alo for his remarkable contribution to their family and the broader community.
