President Tinubu has hailed the life and time of the late former governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, describing him as a selfless leader and a patriotic Nigerian.

 

Tinubu represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima led dignitaries to pay their final respects and bid farewell to Akeredolu, who they all agreed was a valuable part of the Nigerian fabric and a pacesetter in the law profession.

 

According to Shettima, the marks made by the late lawyer and administrator will remain indelible, encouraging leaders at all levels to serve their people in every capacity, in order to leave loving memory at their demise.

 

Akeredolu who died aged 67, after a prolonged health battle was honoured with a befitting burial service at St Andrews Church, Imola Street, Owo, the town of his birth.
