President Bola Tinubu has met with the governor of the central bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele and the group chief executive officer, of the nigeria national petroleum company limited, NNPCL, Mele Kyari at the presidential villa, Abuja.

This was the first official assignment by the president after his inauguration as the 16th president of the country at eagle square, Abuja

Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it is expected that removal of fuel subsidies, unification of foreign exchange, recent naira redesign among others will take center stage.

Recall that president Tinubu had his inaugural speech announced that the era of fuel subsidy is over, with queues greeting the comment in most states of the country.PreasiP
