The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has told the newly sworn in Head of Service, Udo Atang and Permanent Secretaries to live up to expectations or be sacked.
He said this during the the swearing-in ceremony of the officials as well as Chairman and Commissioners of the FCT Civil Service Commission by the Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf, represented by Justice Sylvanus Oriji.
Urging the civil sevants to work for the actualization of President Bola Tinubu’s mandate, Wike warned against the undue delay of files, adding that there would be no issuance of queries for non-performance rather the person would be sacked.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu on March 12, approved the appointment of the officials, following his approval for the establishment of the FCT Civil Service Commission (CSC) in October 2023.
