Oyo state governor, Seyi Makide says good governance is maximizing limited resources to meet the growing needs of the people by prioritizing projects in terms of value addition.
The governor speaking at the official commissioning of the dual agodi gate, old Ife Road, underpass road, submitted that his agenda has been to resurrect the industrial sector of the state, ensuring that transportation is not a stress and security is a point of proud.
Makinde who appreciated naysayers and those that doubted him at the inception of his government, stated that their comments and criticisms fueled his ambition to turn the fortunes of the state around, making it the envy of neighboring states.
Also speaking at the event, Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke who received an award for his contributions to the state, expressed gratitude to the people for supporting his colleague while promising that the southwest governors will continue to partner for the growth of the region.
