Chairman of the Nigeria governors’ forum, and governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has cautioned oil marketers to avoid unleashing needless hardship on the citizens through the creation of artificial fuel scarcity.

In a statement by his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Abdulrazaq stated that artificial scarcity, without the government increasing the price was wrong, asking fuel marketers to immediately discharge fuel to the public under the normal pricing system.

Earlier, chairman independent marketers’ association of Nigeria, IPMAN satellite depot south-west, Akin Akinrinde while speaking to Adamimogo fm stated that fuel stations hoarding the product will be sanctioned.
