The Federal government has unveiled a new document called the national value charter, aimed at transforming the public image of Nigeria and reorientating the citizens on their duties to the country.

Speaking during an interview, the Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris, agreed that Nigerians have lost faith in the government due to the endless unfulfilled promises and show of selfish ambitions, but noted that the new document will change the narrative through the social contract.

The minister urged Nigerians to be patient with the reforms of the Bola Tinubu’s government, maintaining that in the long run, these reforms would yield result.

He assured Nigerians that investigations are ongoing to uncover the fraudulent activities surrounding the fuel subsidy noting that the findings will be disclosed when concluded.

He maintained that the president remains steadfast in his vision which is to take Nigeria to the desired prosperity.
