The Planter of Grace and Mercy Prayer Mountain, Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has said that many people within and outside President Bola Tinubu’s government are working against his success.

He made this statement on Sunday at Jesus City, Ibeju-Lekki, during a special service marking the end of the Church’s annual 41-day fast.

Speaking under divine inspiration, Prophet Olu-Alo revealed that a substantial number of the President’s appointees, particularly from the South-West, do not align with his vision for the country.

“Forty per cent of those appointed from the South-West are not in tune with the President’s plans for Nigeria, infact, only one Minister seems to be aligned,” he stated. “This is why we must pray, so that those around him will have the right mindset and truly work for the good of the nation.”

He noted that President Tinubu has clear intentions for Nigeria’s progress but needs the right people around him. “The President means well, but he cannot do it alone. If those in government lack true commitment, progress will be slow,” he said.

The cleric urged Nigerians to uphold the country and its leaders in prayers rather than speak negatively about them. “People curse their leaders and the nation, not knowing that words have consequences. Instead of tearing down, we should be lifting up in prayer,” he warned.

Encouraging the younger generation, Prophet Olu-Alo advised them to focus on practical skills that would guarantee a stable future.

He also stressed the importance of agriculture, stating, “a nation that cannot feed itself will always be at the mercy of others.”

During the service, the cleric presented a professional toolkit to Olasunkanmi Ayoade, a former trainee under his vocational empowerment programme.

Expressing his gratitude, Ayoade said, “With this support, I can now take on jobs with confidence, knowing that I have the right tools.”

The service concluded with prayers for the peace and development of Nigeria’s 36 states.
