The Senate has transmitted the names of 45 confirmed ministerial nominees to the Presidency.
The Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Abdullahi Gumel, who disclosed this in an interview, stated that the increase in the number of ministers nominee from 48 to 42 will now stand alone.
The Senate yesterday confirmed 45 out of 48 ministerial nominees sent to the upper chamber by President Bola Tinubu, with former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Stella Okotete from Delta State, and Abubakar Danladi from Taraba State yet to be confirmed.
According to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, the nominees were not confirmed because they are still undergoing security checks.
