The general manager of lagos state environmental protection agency, Tunde Ajayi says the closure of some public structures in the state following reports of environmental disturbance is an exercise to tackle Noise Pollution and its enforcement measures.

Ajayi speaking during an interview stated that the purpose of the closure was to create awareness on the rights of residents to a conducive environment, insisting that affected outlets must follow thorough procedures to be restored.

He also stated that carbo emission is a focal point of the environmental commission, warning motorists that unworthy vehicles on Lagos roads will be addressed without remorse.

According to him, worship centers and other public outlets must be enlightened on the negative effects of noise populations which he said infringes on the right of residents, insisting that the mandate of the Governor to reset orderliness in Lagos must be enforced.
