The Lagos State Government has unveiled its plan to convert the recently cleared Ijora under-bridge to a creational space.
This follows the demolition of illegal shanties occupied by squatters under the bridge.
The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, in his latest update, said the proposed transformation would complement the adjacent National Theatre Complex’s ongoing refurbishment, and further enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Lagos.
