Lagos state commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa today visited the young man assaulted by police men in a viral video around Ogundele street, Oja Oba in the Abule Egba area of the state.

In a statement by state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the police chief visited the Hausa community in Abattoir Market, Agege, condemning the excessive use of force by the policemen in enforcing the existing ban on use of motorcycles in some areas in the state.

Owohunwa also assured members of the public that the disciplinary measures already initiated against the men would be brought to a logical conclusion and the outcome made public.

He also stated that The Command will continue to ensure the rule of law is upheld, while not relenting in enforcing the laws of the land.
