Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says the state will adopt systems and models from some of the most advanced cities in the world, to ensure the top class developmental project that will attract investments and ease of doing business.

The Governor said this via X while sharing clips of his working visit to China, noting that he inspected one of the project sites of the China Railway Construction Group, CRCG in Beijing, China and will be taking notes on what to incorporate in the Lagos transport system.

According to him, the visit is in connection to government plans for the construction of some major infrastructural projects in the State and the determination to increase the infrastructure stock of Lagos, especially in transportation.

Earlier, the Governor announced that the Red Line Rail project covering Agbado to Oto is ready for commissioning, saying that his trip to china was to meet with the leadership of CRCG and finalize plans for an integrated system that will mitigate traffic and transportation challenges.

He also explained that he had discussions pertaining to the 4th Mainland Bridge and it is certain that the project will begin shortly.
