Lagos state government has promised to continue its drive for expansion through productive partnership and collaboration with different stakeholders to improve revenue and visibility of the state and Nigeria in the global space.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu said this today at the Lord Mayor’s Show holding in London, saying that the event is an avenue for Lagos to tap into the myriad of opportunity available in the world and to open up the state to investment on all fronts.

Sanwo-Olu, who had earlier signed an Executive Order Three to inaugurate the Lagos International Financial Centre Council, said the State is poised to export its cultural heritage to the world, promising to enlarge the contributions of the Nigerian entertainment industry, to influence a massive change in world view of Africa and Nigeria.

The governor also said his administration had been proactive in collaborating to catalyse infrastructural development and it would be the first African city that would be participating in the Lord Mayor’s Show in the United Kingdom to attract foreign investors to the State.
