The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, says the fuel queues across the country will be a thing of the past in the next two days.

In a televised interview today, Kyari assured Nigerians that the situation will fizzle out as all stakeholders are working on improving the situation.

Earlier, lagos state deputy governor, Obafemi hamzat insisted that subsidy removal remains the only means to tackle corruption and block leakages in the oil sector.

Fuel queues have resurfaced across the country as Nigerian’s forage for the premium product which rose from around N185 per litre to between N400 and N600 per litre, days after President Bola Tinubu announced an end to the era of subsidy payment.
