The Independent National Electoral Commission in Lagos has offered assurances that there would be no repeat of the logistical flaws experienced during the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Lagos, Segun Agbaje gave the assurances during the distribution of Sensitive materials ahead of the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday.

He explained that while INEC distributed materials timely, hoodlums allegedly held back INEC staff from arriving destinations early enough.

He however denied claims of insufficient ballot papers in some polling units, saying all electorate had been provided for.

Recall that there were complaints of insufficient ballot papers for the National Assembly positions in some polling units in Ikorodu and Badagry during the February 25th elections.
