Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has directed the extension of Eid-el-Kabir holidays to Friday.
According to a press statement by acting Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Abdullahi, the gesture was to ensure workers enjoy the festivities alongside their counterparts nationwide.
Abdullahi stated that all essential services would be maintained throughout the Public Holiday and Workers will resume work on Monday 3rd July, 2023, please.
The acting Head of Civil Service also wished all Workers and the General Public a peaceful celebration and a happy resumption by Monday.
